Responsibilities * Monitor the bar and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of guests and staff. * Check identification to verify legal drinking age and watch for fake or altered IDs. * Maintain awareness of guest behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent disturbances or unsafe situations. * De-escalate conflicts or disruptive behavior in a calm and professional manner. * Escort guests from the premises when necessary in accordance with company policies. * Communicate with bartenders, servers, and management regarding any safety concerns or incidents. * Assist staff in maintaining an orderly and safe environment during busy hours and events. * Complete incident reports when necessary and notify management of any issues. Requirements * Previous experience in security, crowd control, or hospitality preferred. * Knowledge of ID verification and the ability to recognize fake or altered IDs. * Ability to remain calm and professional while handling difficult or confrontational situations. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with security work. * Reliable, responsible, and able to exercise sound judgment in high-energy environments. * Must meet the minimum legal age requirement and comply with all local and state alcohol regulations. Schedule / Availability * Position primarily covers Friday and Saturday nights. * Holiday shifts may be required as needed. * Must be comfortable working late-night hours in a fast-paced bar environment.
