Document Processing Associate

Onsite - Chesapeake VA
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm

Pay: $15.00/hour which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Document Processing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and sorting all mail and place into appropriate batch class. This position requires strong attention to detail basic computer skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorts imaging documents files and archives by form type
• Receives documents from both electronic and hard copy forms for processing
• Review and sort all mail and place into appropriate batch class
• Assist in driving to post office to pick up mail when/if required
• Maintain Records Room based on document retention policy
• Review documents and determine the correct department for processing
• Receive sort and process mail packages and supplies as they arrive
• Scanning and operating scanning machine to scan documents ensuring it is legible for review
• Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Some experience working in mail center
• 1-2 years in a working environment
• Required to lift up to 50lbs regularly
• Ability to demonstrate basic PC/Internet skills
• Computer skills: Introductory knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e. Word Outlook Excel TEAMS)
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail; Must translate information effectively and accurately

The estimated salary range for this role is$26600 - $33250.
