Job Title: Video Editor

Schedule: M-F, 9AM-6PM Pacific Time

Salary: Based on experience

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and the technical expertise to transform raw footage into compelling content. In this role, you will edit videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns. 

As part of the assessment process, you will be asked to create 3 engaging reels from podcast footage, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with our brand’s style.

Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver high-quality, on-brand video content.
• Work with raw footage and transform it into polished, engaging videos that align with the brand’s style and messaging.
• Add text, graphics, sound, and music to videos to enhance viewer experience.
• Ensure all videos meet required specifications, including file format, resolution (4K), and branding guidelines.
• Manage video files and assets to ensure organized and efficient workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in video production, editing techniques, and software.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and editing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics is a plus.
• Experience in editing podcast footage and creating social media reels is highly preferred.
