NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient phone triage role in Oswego, New York. This is a great opportunity for nurses looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a lower-acuity setting.

Shift: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Contract Length: 8 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
EMR: Meditech
On-Call: None
Perform phone triage assessments and provide clinical guidance
Respond to patient concerns and determine appropriate care level
Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR
Occasionally assist with:
Rooming patients
Administering injections
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff
Active New York RN license
Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
Strong communication and triage skills
Experience in outpatient, clinic, or primary care preferred
Comfortable with phone-based patient interaction
BLS (AHA) required
Stable Monday Friday schedule (no weekends!)
Lower stress vs hospital bedside roles
Consistent 40-hour work week
Great for nurses transitioning into outpatient care
