Job Description
As our Plant Controller, you'll be the financial heartbeat of our manufacturing facility. You'll ensure that every decision-from production planning to capital investments-is backed by accurate, timely, and insightful financial data. Your work will empower leadership to make strategic moves, optimize operations, and drive profitability, all while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity.
What You'll Do
* Oversee all plant-level accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory management, and monthly close processes.
* Develop and maintain accurate product cost models to guide pricing, margin analysis, and operational efficiency.
* Partner with plant leadership to prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve productivity and reduce waste.
* Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, GAAP, and internal controls.
* Lead financial reviews with plant management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to align financial goals with production strategies.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
* 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
