Outdoor Clean Up Crew

Seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our Litter Crew team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the community. Team members will work outdoors in small crews to remove litter and debris from public spaces.

Outdoor Clean Up Crew Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $15.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm )

• Collect and dispose of litter, trash, and debris from streets, parks, and other public areas
• Travel daily with a crew to various job sites throughout the city
• Follow all safety procedures while working and operating equipment
• Assist with general grounds maintenance as needed
• Accurately record daily work hours using a timecard

Outdoor Clean Up Crew Qualifications:

• Outdoor position requiring work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Physically demanding work involving walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
• Exposure to dust, noise, and traffic conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• At least 6 months of outdoor work experience (landscaping, construction, road work, farming, utility work, demolition, etc.)
• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or similar outdoor labor preferred
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License (required)

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
