SUMMARY


This position is primarily responsible for performing various machine maintenance duties to include, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


Machine Maintenance:
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedule and assure scheduled tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Must be able to work extended hours when required.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.


Facilities Maintenance:
• Responsible for assuring clean room is cleaned according to standard operating procedures on a weekly basis.
• Work with local contractors to assure facility repairs are met (electrician, HVAC, etc.).
• Other tasks as assigned.


Skills:
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Must have valid driver's license
• Works well under pressure
• Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills



WORKING CONDITIONS


Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. May require long periods of standing. Current shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. These hours are subject to change based on business needs.
