Job Description

Dental Office Manager

Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time

We are a well-established, growing dental practice in Los Angeles seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to lead operations, manage the team, and drive practice performance.

Must have experience working as manager in a dental office.
Experience with Denti-Cal Preferred.

This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, improves systems, and is focused on results—not just maintaining daily operations.

We are looking to hire quickly and begin interviews immediately.

Must have 4+ years experience working as a manager in a dental office.

Experience with Denti-Cal strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the dental office.
  • Manage and support front desk and clinical team.
  • Optimize schedule to maximize production and efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve key metrics (production, collections, case acceptance, cancellations).
  • Oversee insurance billing, AR, and treatment coordination.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience and handle issues professionally.
  • Improve systems, workflows, and team accountability.
  • Manage hiring and onboarding (especially dental assistants).

Requirements:

  • 4+ years dental office management experience.
  • Strong understanding of PPO insurance, billing, and treatment planning.
  • Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and improve performance.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.

Compensation:

  • $75,000 – $95,000 per year.
  • Performance-based bonus tied to office growth, collections, and team performance.

Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week).
  • Tuesday – Friday, Saturday.

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a manager who can independently run the day-to-day operations of the practice without constant oversight.

The ideal candidate:

  • Takes full ownership of the office.
  • Can identify and solve problems without needing direction.
  • Keeps the schedule full and operations running smoothly.
  • Holds the team accountable and ensures consistency.
  • Communicates clearly and proactively with ownership.

This role is ideal for someone who prefers autonomy and takes pride in running an office efficiently without needing constant direction.

Apply:
Please submit your resume and include:

  • Your experience managing a dental office.
  • Specific results you achieved (production, collections, or team improvements).
  • Include the word “growth” in your application.

Benefits:

  • Paid time off.

Application Question(s):

  • What was your last office’s average monthly collections?
  • Briefly describe one specific result you achieved in a dental office (include numbers if possible, such as production increase, collections improvement, or reduced AR).
  • Do you have hands-on experience with Denti-Cal billing, authorizations (TAR), and high-volume scheduling?

Experience:

  • Dental office manager: 4 years (Required).

Work Location: In person.
