Anchorage Sleep Center is seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing, multi-location sleep disorders practice serving communities across Alaska. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered sleep health services through evidence-based care, clinical excellence, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. This role includes outpatient clinical care as well as interpretation and reporting of sleep studies across our network. Role Overview Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient sleep clinic setting. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of sleep disorders in adult and pediatric patients , including but not limited to sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, and restless legs syndrome. Interpret and report polysomnography (PSG), CPAP/BiPAP titrations, HSATs, MSLTs, and MWTs in accordance with AASM standards. Coordinate management of sleep-related conditions in patients with comorbid chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac disease, and chronic lung disease. Order and review diagnostic tests and communicate findings, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations to patients. Educate patients on sleep hygiene, behavioral interventions, PAP therapy, medication management, and long-term sleep health. Collaborate with Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, sleep technologists, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality, efficient care. Provide clinical oversight and guidance to advanced practice providers as appropriate. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with practice protocols and documentation standards. Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care across clinic locations. Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified in Sleep Medicine (ABSM or equivalent). Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in the State of Alaska. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care. Experience interpreting sleep studies in accordance with AASM guidelines. Prior experience in pulmonary, neurology, psychiatry, or internal medicine is a plus.
